We are continuing with our Comic Book Projects… Making New Videos and also wheelin’ and dealin’ with some big wigs to, not only, get our name out there… but to create new and exciting projects!

COMIC CON IS SOLD OUT….

Yes… The San Diego Comic Con overlords, in their infinite wisdom(?) decided that Comic Con was getting too big, so they limited Pass Sales and capped them off… meaning that anyone who didn’t register on July 30th 2009… is Shit out of luck for this year.

DON’T BOOK YOUR TRIPS… cause you aint goin’ to the con.

And, you may ask WHY is Comic Con being limited… well, I have THE answer. The Overlords in San Diego REFUSE to move the Con to a larger location… even out of state… despite the fact that each and every year, more people attend, more exhibits get added and more exclusives get put up for sale.

This FLAT OUT SUCKS.It is a prime example of Stupidity! Sorry to say that, I really am, but it’s just stupid to limit ticket sales to an event like this… and it’s your fault, Convention presenters.

The San Diego Convention Center is Small… like WAY small. The entire con is Crammed into one room, with thousands of …shall we say, corpulent individuals, wedged into small spaces with GIANT Goody bags stapped to their backs.

Lets not even mention the hundreds of Baby Strollers, Giant Cosplay Accessories that take up more than half a person in size… and the down right IDIOTIC placement of booths and tables…

They simply need to take their heads out of their asses and MOVE THE DAMN CON TO A LARGER LOCATION… It keeps getting bigger, and there is no stopping it… sooner than later… the CON will have to Move.

They should just do it NOW… to get it over with. I am sure that people will respect a move. The Las Vegas Convention Center for instance… is HUGE and could EASILY host the Comic Con.  Plenty of Hotel space… plenty of other things to do in town… the works. Las Vegas is also Not too far away from San Diego.

So you would have to change to name… BIG FREAKIN DEAL. Think about how much better everything would be. No Crammed lines… plenty of space for exhibits and tables… and lets not forget MORE ORGANIZATION with MORE SPACE!!!! The LVCC also has a much larger staff and there is NO DAMN TRAIN in front of the doors…

The LAS VEGAS Comic CON… I like the sound of that.

Too bad it will never happen….

When N.I. Comics first started, we were turning out a new book at least Bi Monthly. Since we do all the Planning, Writing, and Art ourselves… without the luxury of having like 20 guys working on the same issue… things can take a while.

This is not saying that N.I. Comics is going away. In fact..the entire Storyline of the 10 issue run of Superhero University is Finished and other books such as GOTO HELL and Comic Medley are just around the corner.

With that said, yes, I am aware that a new issue hasn’t come around. Our Company has been focusing on Our Partnerships with Rifftrax.com and Shinobi Enterprises… not to mention our move to HD Video and Blip.TV. The Comics took somewhat of a backseat, until we can get a finalized schedule.

While I can offer no excuse as to why we aren’t turning out the books… I can tell you that several (now Failed) projects entered our line of sight… only to be shot down and becoming a complete waste of time.

For a time, Superhero University was to be a Video Game for Xbox Live… we were never so ready to dive into something… only to find out that making the game we wanted was not possible. Time Well Wasted.

Superhero University was then extended, to become a Cartoon Series. Only to once again be met with demise. We worked on it, and yet could never make it come together….More Time Wasted.

We even tried to solicit S.U. as a Live action Web series (Al la The Guild) … sadly, this too never came to pass.

In what is probably a dumb and meaningless choice. All these Projects still live inside me…. and I refuse to let them go without a good long fight. I am, however learning at a somewhat alarming pace, that you always can’t make what you think up become reality.

With that said, I wish to thank our readers for their patience, and hopefully I will complete the S.U. Comic book series this year. And… just maybe, one or two of these “Living Ideas” will find it’s way into reality….

….. maybe.

I’ve decided recently that our presence on YouTube isn’t being noticed, except by folks who like to claim copyright infringement even when they own NOTHING about the Video. It seems that if YouTube gets One complaint,  it is not checked and then your video is removed. You have to jump through hoops to get your video back online…

…let’s not mention the comments. Oh Boy, have we lost some IQ points in recent years. Our Gary The Game Reviewing Godmonster videos are harmless, but we were accused of Pedophilia. We’ve had Videos “Flagged” because the viewer “thought is was dumb”.

Again, YouTube just removes the Videos with no notice. >(

I have also gotten tired of their upload system. It’s just broken. They had it working a long time ago. .then an “upgrade” happened… and now I can’t even update information about a Video while its uploading… then when it uploads.. there’s no notice… I have had to have two windows open to see if the Video actually made it to my channel.

Such a hassle.

The affiliate program and trying to get ad’s on our Videos was impossible… some of you are saying.. “hey great NO AD’s” … but I need them to continue to make videos.

So… I’ve decided to take my new to BLIP.TV. This is where the main shows will reside. There hasn’t been a decision regarding shows NOT produced by us.

Since we are expanding the NITV brand over the next few months… BLIP.TV seems to be our best option.

Anyway… here is out first test Upload to Blip.
